Game Nite is going to Geekway to the West from Thursday, May 9, 2013 thru Sunday, May 12, 2013!
There will be open gaming, tournaments, and giveaways all weekend. Game Nite has been a proud sponsor of Geekway for years and we are looking forward to this convention being the most fun yet! Game Nite is will be hosting an all-weekend Magic: the Gathering extravaganza for the Dragon's Maze Prerelease events on Sat 04/27/2013 and Sun 04/28/2013! We will be staying open all day and night from Friday thru Sunday hosting Magic game playing.
When players register for the event they will supply their top three picks from TEN guilds to champion (Rakdos, Golgari, Azorius, Izzet, Selesnya, Orzhov, Dimir, Gruul, Boros, and Simic) and will receive a Guild Prerelease Pack based upon availability to build their Prerelease deck.
Each of the Dragon's Maze Guild Prerelease Packs contains the following:
- 4 Dragon's Maze booster packs
- 1 Return to Ravnica guild booster pack
- 1 Gatecrash guild booster pack
Each player also receives one Maze's End promo card (while supplies last). NOTE: The Maze's End promo cards are not included in the individual Guild Prerelease Packs as they were for the Return to Ravnica and Gatecrash events, and, for this event, the players may NOT use the promo card in their tournament decks.
In addition to a player's selected guild, each Guild Prerelease Pack has a "secret ally" guild which will share one mana color with the selected guild. Regretfully we cannot honor requests for specific guild+ally combinations but rather secret guilds will be given randomly.
If you preregister and prepay for multiple events (for the same player) at the same time we will discount your registration fee! $5.00 off if you register for two events, $12.00 off if you register for three events, $20.00 off if you register for four or more events!
Run the Implicit Maze — Each player gets a guild symbol button to show his or her allegiance to his or her guild. Each time a player wins a match during the tournament, his or her guild moves farther through the Implicit Maze.
Each member of the first guild to complete the Implicit Maze will get a "Champion of the Maze" achievement code card, which he or she can redeem on PlaneswalkerPoints.com for a badge and achievement. Additionally, members of each other guild to complete the Implicit Maze after the first will receive "Maze Runner" achievement code cards to redeem on PlaneswalkerPoints.com, while supplies last.
When the Maze is completed, each player participating in the Implicit Maze will receive an alternate art foil Plains promo card (while supplies last).
Mini-Master Side Events — Between our official Dragon's Maze Prerelease events, Game Nite will remain open and offer Return to Ravnica and Gatecrash Mini-Master events.

Annual Game Nite Black Friday 2d6 Sale!
Game Nite celebrates its fifth birthday this year on Black Friday! Back in November 2007, we reopened Game Nite under new ownership with a renewed vision and mission to become St. Louis' best game store specializing in board games, card games and other non-electronic entertainment. Since that time in that tiny storefront in the mall we have continued to grow and improve.
We have never lost sight that our continuing success and growth is because of our great gaming community. To celebrate our birthday and thank our fantastic customers we will be hosting our annual Black Friday 2d6 Sale.
For those who might be confused as to what this means: When a customer makes a purchase this Friday, November 23, 2012, they roll two six-sided dice to determine the percentage that will be taken off their purchase. More accurately to celebrate our fifth birthday, it will be more of a 2d6+3 sale as you add 3 to the dice roll so your discount will be between 5-15% off! What if you do not like what you rolled? Well, we ARE a game store so... you may choose to pick up and re-roll both dice! The catch is, you lose what you rolled the first time if you do and you only get ONE re-roll chance. |
